My husband and I live in a Grade II listed cottage and it can be hard finding furniture that compliments the style of the property. I had searched for cottage beds but most of them are cast iron or wood and they just didn’t fit what I had imagined for the bedroom. I came across this Chesterfield bed and knew I’d found the perfect one. The soft arch isn’t over exaggerated like some I’ve seen and the headboard is plump and comfortable, ideal when you have thick stone walls that cast a cold air from them. The stitching is neat and tidy and the frame itself is sturdy. It was quick to assemble and looks classic and elegant. Definitely worth every penny.
